Stacey Dougan

Stacey Dougan

Stacey Dougan became a Health Coach because, when my body, mind, and spirit, are in harmony, everything else falls into place. After 20 years of practicing law, she decided to follow her passion by building a new career path as a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Registered Yoga Teacher. There’s nothing she loves more than helping women who are approaching that seemingly endless “peri-menopausal” or menopausal phase realize that they can regain their energy and their waistline, while feeling great about themselves in the process. The bottom line is that vibrancy comes from the inside out, and no one or no “thing” can do it for us.

Throughout her professional life she was a Type-A person who worked very hard to balance a demanding career with motherhood, marriage, and community involvement. Though successful on the outside, she also experienced years of chronic pain, adrenal fatigue, and hormonal imbalance. Constantly frustrated with the fragmented treatment offered by conventional medicine, she found little relief before turning to nutrition, Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine, qigong, and other forms of holistic and integrative care. Stacey also studied these subjects closely over the years as she journeyed through perimenopause and then surgical menopause. She learned that the degree to which hormonal imbalances can affect the quality of women’s lives is enormous; the good news is that there are a multitude of non-pharmaceutical remedies that can provide immense relief to women throughout these years.
